Corinne Hockley

Corinne is a high profile textile artist with a background in costume and stage design. From her studio at Stroud Valley Artspace she creates intricately stitched and embellished narrative pieces, using a wide variety of media and exploring themes of freedom and constraint, ritual and romance. Corinne has collaborated with dancers and theatre companies to create magical installations - worlds which are inhabited and brought to life.

Alongside other high profile designers she is part of Studio Seven, based at Brewery Arts, Cirencester. In 2007 they began working on projects bringig textiles to audiences in new and surprising contexts.
