Sue was Artistic Director of The Everyman Theatre Cheltenham from 1996 to 2007, where she directed classics through to new writing. Other directing credits include Tilt Theatre Company, Freefall Theatre Company, The Oxford Stage Company, Show of Strength and Red Dog.
Sue trained as an actor at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and has worked for, amongst others, the RSC, The National, Bristol Old Vic, Actors Touring Company, Northampton Theatre Royal and Oxford Stage Company where she was nominated for the Olivier Comedy performance of the year.
