Stroud News & Journal November 2009 Our work includes devising participatory workshops that allow communities to explore different aspects of the world they live in, including heritage, environment, arts and crafts.

We believe that everyone is capable of creative expression; that artists can work with a broad spectrum of individuals without compromising artistically or aesthetically; that contemporary artforms can be stimulating, challenging and engaging for all. We want theatre to be at the cultural heart of our community and as a result of a grant from BBC Children in Need and LankellyChase we can expand our work into the community. Currently we work with:

OPENhouse (formerly Five Valleys Foyer ), a charity supportingĀ  homeless and disadvantaged young people.

Our programme of workshops is developing continuously as we explore new ways to engage with the young people of OPENhouse and we currently work in the following areas:

Textiles and costume design

Pre and Post show music production

Video/Image production

Over the previous 2 years more than 120 young people have taken part, and 25 have achieved NCFE level 1 qualifications. The wider community has benefited from professional public performances, which have reached over 2400 people including school groups.
