Corinne Hockley
- Textile Artists and Designer

Corinne is a high profile textile artist with a background in costume and stage design.
From her studio at Stroud Valleys Artspace she creates intricately stitched and embelished narrative pieces, using a wide variety of media and exploring themes of freedom and constraint, ritual and romance. Corinne has also collaborated with dancers and theatre companies to create magical installations - worlds which are inhabited and brought to life.

Alongside several other high profile designers she is part of Studio Seven, based at New Brewery Arts in Cirencester. In 2007 Studio Seven began working together on projects which bring textiles to audiences in new and surprising contexts. The ground-breaking, Arts Council funded 'Textiles in performance', a site-specific collaborative project combining textiles, dance, sound and architecture, premiered at the Stroud International Textile Festival in 2007, and at Woodchester Mansion. This has been followed in 2008 and 2009 with two more equally innovative and successful projects - 'Make Do and Mend' and 'Cut 2 on Fold'.
