Skybound
A 15 minute piece created by textile artist Corinne Hockley and dancer Marie-Louise Flexen. A trapped, winged female weaves a story of secrets & memories as she tries to escape from her inner world of sadness. Combining the beauty of physical language and textile installation 'Skybound' captures a sense of other worldliness with a fragile and human heart.      www.studio-seven.net  www.marielouise.webeden.co.uk

Inside Out
A 20 minute piece of devised physical theatre by Foulisfair Theatre exploring notions of freedom and responsibility. A woman packs up things that won’t be missed and moves into a bubble.  Surely life will be easier now she can control her environment and doesn’t have to interact with the outside world?     www.foulisfair.com

The Yellow Wallpaper    by Charlotte Perkins-Gilman adapted by Fiona Ross and directed by Sue Colverd. A 40 minute piece of text driven, physically bold theatre performed by Red Dog Productions.
This compellingly beautiful story reveals the gradual effect that deprivation has on the intelligent and creative spirit of its feminist author. Diagnosed as an hysteric and treated by being deprived of all occupation and stimulus, we watch the desperation of a woman, whose empty days offer only one diversion:  to unravel the secrets that seem to be held in the yellow wallpaper that surrounds her. Written in 1892 this piece resonates as powerfully today as when first published.
